Image Consultant Lin Seesink knows that looking good is powerful, because when you look good you will always feel good, and when you feel good your confidence will shine and create a lasting impression. Image is important if we are to achieve success in our careers as well as in our personal lives. Achieving the right image for you is really very simple; it is just a question of knowing what you want to accomplish. Insync Colour & Style is an image consulting company, which offers a service in helping people to look good through colour and style. We only have one chance of making a first impression. Within the first five seconds of walking into a room, people have assessed who you are, what your values are, your capabilities, your background, your confidence level as well as your professionalism. Through learning the importance of looking good, we can achieve so much more in our careers. Whether someone is looking for a new job, or wanting promotion within their organisation, wearing the right style of clothing for the occasion and your body shape, in colours which send the correct message is important. Make your first impression a lasting impression. For over 20 years Lin worked in the corporate world as a Credit Manager, where she learnt how people judge one another by how they look, so she knows from personal experience how important it is to look and feel good about yourself. In 1994 she changed professions and started working with another Image Consultant, learning all she could about other people's body shapes and individual colours. In 1995 she trained professionally to become an Image Consultant to help others look the best they can, then went to the United States in 1997 to train as the Regional Trainer, helping many women achieve their dream of becoming an Image Consultant. She runs various workshops from her studio, including make-up application, wardrobe planning and scarf tying. Over the years Lin has worked with many women, as well as some men, and helped them to improve their image in colour, style and make-up application (not the men in the latter!). In her spare time Lin attends meetings and functions held by some of the ladies groups she is involved in and helps in the fundraising activities. Amongst her passions are golf and crafts, where she enjoys being creative with beads, quilting, silk flower making and washi egg making to name but a few.
